Country Music Marathon & Half Marathon

*Training begins December 6, 2008
Individual Training Plan- After initial consulation, the athlete
will receive a full training schedule for the marathon or half marathon distance
based on his/her current fitness level and race day goals. Workout plans will
include one long run and three midweek runs as well as some strength training
and cross
training
ideas.
This
does not include one-on-one coaching except for the speed workout on Wednesday
night and some organized long runs.
Plan includes unlimited email consultation.($150 per individual)
*All athletes must fill out an "Athlete History" form.

1. Basic Training Plan- after initial consult, a 12 week training plan is written
with athlete's specific goals in mind. For each week you will receive 2 swim
workouts, 2 bike workouts and 2 runs. This plan does not include one-on-one
coaching, but email consultation is permitted. ($75)
2. Individual Training Plan- after initial consult, a 12 week
training plan is written with athlete's specific goals in mind. Involves swim,
bike and run
workouts as well as strength training plan. This plan involves 2 group workouts
per week including the weekend bike/run workout and one midweek workout in
swim, bike or run. This plan also includes clinics on triathlon transition,
bike maintenance and strength training for endurance athletes. ($350 or $500
for couples)
10% OF ALL FEES ARE DONATED TO THE BILL CREWS REMISSION RUN
About Your Happy Feet Coaches...
Bill and Dana-Susan Crews come
from a competitive swimming background. Together they have coached swimming
in Dallas and The Woodlands where they currently live. They have vast experience
in sports and
fitness as athletes and coaches.
Bill coaches swimming for Texas Amateur Athletic
Federation and the YMCA Swim League. He also coaches triathlon for youth and
adults (beginner-intermediate level).
Dana-Susan coaches swimming for Texas Amateur Athletic
Federation. She also coaches triathlon for youth and adults (beginner-intermediate
level). She also coaches runners for Team in Training's marathon and half marathon
program.
Coaching philosophy: "We believe health and fitness are both a gift
and a decision. Our goal is to inspire families and friends to get fit and stay
fit together
through the wonderful world of multi sport."
